Method

From membership to digital vote

The proposed internal party election procedure described in the manifesto. Office is won by the votes of eligible members — not by nomination.

  1. 01

    Get digital membership

Provide basic information on the website; after verification and registration a unique party membership number is issued.

  2. 02

    Announce candidacy

Every year from 1 January to 1 June, members are notified of candidacy for each level, and interested members submit their digital application by the set date.

  3. 03

    Eligibility check & final list

All candidates' eligibility and information is verified. The final list of eligible candidates is shared with all relevant members on the 8th.

  4. 04

    Reach out to members

Candidates contact the members of their constituency, present their programme and try to win their trust.

  5. 05

    Vote for your candidate

After the final list, all eligible members of the constituency can cast a digital vote for their preferred candidate.

  6. 06

    Counting, results & leadership

When voting ends the digital system counts the votes and results are released on the set date. The candidate with the most votes wins.

Important difference

This is the party's proposed internal digital voting. Votes or candidacy applications are not yet being accepted on this website. For national and general election registration, polling and rules, see the Election Commission of Pakistan.
